DIY Infused Liquor Gifts

Gifts do not always have to be complicated or expensive, sometimes it really is the thought that means everything. For an easy and practical gift try making your own infused liquors. The flavor combos are just as endless as the bottle/jar and labels you create.

Cranberry, ginger, rosemary

DIY infused booze

    1. Place items in large container with lid. Cover with your choice of vodka, gin, whiskey, or tequila. Note that the more raw ingredients you have the strong the end flavor will be. 
    2. Store in a cool and dry place for 3-5 days for full flavor infusion. It is not recommended to infuse longer as the aromatics will break down too much and may not filter out fully. 
    3. Using a mesh strainer, cheese cloth, or coffee filter extract the now infused liquor. 
    4. Poor into bottle or jar of choice and label. On the label it would be a good idea to provide a quick drink recipe such as using the garlic, jalapeno, and horseradish infused vodka with tomato juice for the perfect bloody mary. Another would be combining the cranberry, ginger, and rosemary infused vodka with sparkling water and simple syrup.
