DPD asks for help identifying suspects in string of robberies

The Detroit Police Department is asking for help finding suspects wanted in a string of armed robberies.

Three teens were held up on Tuesday in the area of Forrer Street on Detroit's west side.

They were meeting two men there to sell some shoes, when one of the suspects pulled out a gun.

The teens were able to drive off.

Police said the would-be robbers are wanted in connection with three other armed robberies in the area.

The suspects are both in their late teens and considered armed and dangerous.

Police hope someone will recognize the young man pictured above. Those with any information can call Detroit police at (313) 267-4600.
