Fire destroys Holden's Party Store in Milford

MILFORD, Mich. (WJBK) - A popular party store in Milford was destroyed by a fire Wednesday morning. The blaze broke out at Holden's Party Store on S. Milford Road around 5:30 a.m.

As you can see from SkyFox video, the building is a total loss.

Employees were inside at the time, but no injuries have been reported. The store's co-owner, Peter Holden, says the fire started behind one of their deep fryers.

By the time firefighters arrived, the flames had already spread to the roof.

Holden says his biggest concern right now is to find jobs for his employees that need work right away. He says he is working with his insurance company to get things back to normal.
