Fire at Detroit auto parts store shuts down McNichols Road, crews on scene

First responders are on the scene of a fire at an auto parts store on the corner of McNichols and Woodward in Detroit on Tuesday.

The fire has been roaring since 3 p.m. at Holbrook Auto Parts as multiple firefighters worked to put out the flames.

Sky FOX flew over the scene and saw black smoke and flames poking out of the roof of the building. Dozens of firefighters can be seen attempting to enter the structure to contain the fire.

It is unknown what caused the fire or if anyone was injured.

McNichols Road is closed until further notice in both directions, so drivers commuting through that area will need to find a new route.

FOX 2 will update this story when we learn more.
