Fowler Center Health Assistants

(WJBK) - The Fowler Center is looking for a caring and energetic Nursing Students to become part of  their summer camp 2016 staff. The Fowler Center is a year round camp for children and adults with special needs. The Health Assistants are responsible to the Health Officer (RN) and help with the overall administration of camper medications, maintaining healthcare records for campers/staff and attending to minor health needs of campers/staff as they arise. Must have experience passing medications to patients/campers. Position is residential and employee must stay on site for the duration of each session from June 12-August 19, 2016. The camp is located in Mayville, in the thumb of Michigan.  Staff training begins June 12, 2016. The camp season ends August 19th. Sessions run 1-2 weeks in length with Saturdays between sessions off. Health Assistant pay is $400/week during the 10 week employment time. Meals and lodging is also included.
