Willie Wilborn was released from court a free man Friday after being charged in the death of his pregnant girlfriend, Ladiamond Myers.

An emotional outburst was heard in court from the family as the judge dismissed murder charges against him. Investigators say Myers, a mother of four, was killed the day before her body was discovered, stabbed and beaten in the head with at least five separate blows.

"Right now as it stands it is insufficient even on the probable cause theory, I have no recourse ..." said Judge Kenneth L. Keith, citing a lack of evidence.

"I can't believe this," said one family member, headed to the courtroom door. "He killed her your honor ... oh my God."

FOX 2 caught up with Wilborn as he walked out of jail. He says he's innocent.

"I feel good, everybody's been accused (of being a murderer), Jesus got accused," he said. "It's the testimony of my life. I've been innocent, that's what I've been trying to tell everybody.

"I want to get my sympathies out to (the family) I want to go home so I can grieve."

Reporter: "Do you know what happened that day?"

"It's like I just said, I want to get out of here and get to my family. No disrespect."
