Man burned beyond recognition in house fire on Detroit's westside.

Detroit (WJBK) - Good Samaritans break into a burning home, on Detroit's West side to find two people trapped inside. 

A woman in her 80s and her son 69, were both inside the burning home. Civilian Mark Hanson along with a friend were driving by when they saw the house on fire.  

"We just drove past and seen the house on fire. We got out to try and help her., I went in there, my friend was trying to get her son, but we were unsuccessful," Hanson said.

The cause of fire is believed to be accidental, and could be the result of smoking.
