Man wanted for 2 Madison Heights bank robberies

Madison Heights police are asking for the public's help investigating a pair of bank robberies.

Photos were released of a suspect involved in bank robberies on Nov. 17 and Wednesday, Nov. 21. 

On Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. the man passed a note to a teller asking for cash at the Chase Bank at 29200 Campbell. The suspect fled on foot into the parking lot as he was chased by witnesses. He then was seen entering a vehicle and leaving the parking lot.

The same suspect is wanted for a robbery at the Chemical Bank on 1800 E. 12 Mile Road at 11:47 a.m. The man passed a note to the teller and the teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.  He then fled on foot from the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s or 40s, about 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches with a thin build, wearing a blue Adidas hat, a black and blue hooded jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.  

The suspect's vehicle was described as a late 1990s- early 2000s purple Dodge Caravan with a white fuel door on the driver's side.
