Meet the Livonia mom behind the viral 'Tangled' bedroom mural

Inspiration can come from many different places. For one Michigan mom, reading the beloved Disney fairy tales to her daughter inspired her to paint.

Jennifer Treece spent 60 hours painting a "Tangled" mural in her 8-year-old daughter's room. The beautiful mural is from the lantern scene, where main characters Rapunzel and Flynn are on a boat at night and paper laterns rise up around them and fill the sky.

Jennifer posted photos of her finished product to the website BoredPanda -- and her images went viral.

Jennifer has always been interested in art, but only started painting a few years ago. She's worked as a graphic designer for many years, but her direction began to switch recently when a coworker asked if she knew how to paint.

She met with the coworker for two lunch-time lessons, and she hasn't been able to stop since.

Jennifer has a whimsical feel to her paintings, and she says she'd love to be a licensed Disney artist one day.

Jennifer joined us on The Nine to show us some more of her paintings, including ones that aren't Disney-themed. You can watch in the video player above. She's available for commissioned paintings.
