Metro Detroit Weather: Cool temps for back to school
FOX 2 - The first day of school starts off cooler than average.
Morning lows around 53 degrees with breezy conditions developing. Most areas are dry.
The exception being near Port Huron, where rotation around a departing Low pressure system is bringing light rain.
Temperatures today will be milder than yesterday, but cooler than seasonal: around 78 degrees.
Tuesday brings warmer readings with highs around 80 degrees. The warmest day this week is Thursday, with a high of 83.
Rain makes a return late Wednesday night into Thursday and again by the weekend.
