South Carolina authorities have arrested a man wanted in Michigan on a charge involving the assault of a child.

WCBD-TV reports Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies and members of the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force found 29-year-old Muhammed Baldeh on Tuesday -- his birthday -- and arrested him. He's been wanted since July 2012 on warrants accusing him of forcible sexual assault and sodomy of a child under the age of 10.

Further details of the alleged crime are not being released.

Berkeley County found Baldeh after receiving tips that he was living and working in the area. Baldeh was arrested without incident. He's being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center, where he will await extradition back to Michigan.
