Authorities say a missing girl from Minnesota was reported being seen in Detroit.

Eight-year-old Talisha Yellowfox-Brown is listed on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. However, a Minneapolis police spokesperson told FOX 2's sister station in Minneapolis-St. Paul that they have no reason to believe Talisha is in danger, and that her disappearance is not an official missing persons case in Minneapolis.

Talisha's mother last saw her on June 8 when she was dropped off to visit her father. Talisha was supposed to be dropped back off on the 11th, but that never happened.

A relative told authorities she saw Talisha in Detroit shortly after her disappearance. She also may be in other Minnesota cities.

Talisha is biracial with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 4 feet tall and weighs about 50 pounds.

If you see her or know anything about her whereabouts, you're asked to call 911 or The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-THE LOST.
