Human trafficking, a serious problem that many may not be aware of the dangers and how many people are affected.

The group S.O.A.P or Save our Adolescents from Prostitution held their 4th annual event in Southfield Saturday voicing their concerns for human trafficking.

The main concern is human trafficking numbers soar when thousands of people come from out of town for events like the Woodward Dream Cruise.

"We look online, we see the numbers increase and so we bring in our people. We educate them, we send soap to the hotels with the missing girl flyers and folders of just information on red flags and what to look for so they're prepared because these people are coming into town, they have to stay somewhere," VP of S.O.A.P Devaun Chandler said.

The group says when they pass around flyers at hotels they generally get tips on possible whereabouts of missing girls.
