Southfield Freeway ramp to I-96 reopened after huge hole patched
(FOX 2) - Part of the Southfield Freeway was closed throughout the night and through the morning rush hour as crews repaired a huge hole that opened up.
The southbound M-39 ramp to eastbound I-96 was closed Tuesday morning while crews worked on the repair.
Cold temperatures were making the repair take longer than they'd hoped for, MDOT spokesperson Diane Cross told FOX 2.
The ramp was closed around 8 p.m. Monday. It reopened a little after 10 a.m.
