Southwest Airlines is rolling out SpaceX’s Starlink WiFi across its fleet

Southwest Airlines is taking its WiFi on board its fleet of planes to the next level with Space X’s Starlink.

The airline says Starlink WiFi will be available on more than 300 of its aircraft by the end of 2026, offering customers the ability to stream, share, and surf the web during flights.

Southwest’s on board WiFi is free for Rapid Rewards Members.

What is Starlink?  

Starlink, engineered by SpaceX,  is a constellation of more than 9,000 satellites orbiting close to Earth.  The satellites deliver reliable, high-speed internet access across the world.  Starlink says low-Earth orbit, delivering reliable broadband internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls, and more.
