String of armed robberies at 7-Elevens in St. Clair Shores
ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. (WJBK) - Police in St. Clair Shores are investigating several armed robberies that have taken place in just a matter of days.
A 7-Eleven was robbed early Thursday morning, and police say this is the third 7-Eleven to be robbed in less than a week.
The latest robbery happened at the store in the 21000 block of Harper, between Eight and Nine Mile roads. Some cash was taken but nobody was hurt.
Police do believe all the robberies are connected, and are looking for one particular suspect.
The suspect has pointed a gun at the clerk all three times when demanding money. The suspect is described as a heavyset black man about 40-50 years old. He was last seen Thursday morning in a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and white tennis shoes.
The other robberies happened at stores in the 32000 block of Harper Avenue Saturday, and the other on Little Mack Avenue also over the weekend.
If you know anything about what happened at any of the stores, you're asked to contact St. Clair Shores Police.
