MONROE COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - A vehicle fire on US-23 shutdown the greater Detroit highway Friday morning.
The incident happened in Monroe County at Tecumseh Street in the northbound lanes, shutting down the entire freeway.

Vehicle fire shuts down US-23
Video from a driver caught in traffic on US-23 showed smoke billowing out from a vehicle fire.
The blaze, which could be seen from vehicles caught in the traffic jam, showed smoke billowing out from a vehicle.
There was no estimated time the highway would reopen.
