Winter Blast 2025: Royal Oak police, firefighter broomball game to support homeless organizations
ROYAL OAK, Mich. (FOX 2) - To kick off Winter Blast, Royal Oak police officers and firefighters will hit the ice rink to help those in need.
On Jan. 31, they'll participate in the Guns & Hoses Broomball Battle at Centennial Commons Park to raise money for the Welcome Inn Day Center and Outreach on 7th - two organizations that both help unhoused people.
A $25 ticket gets you a spot next to the ice rink to watch the game, along with entry to a reception at Lockhart’s BBQ after the match.
