WWJ hosts THAW Radiothon to help Michigan families in need

(WJBK) - Winter is a cold and frightening time of the year for thousands of Michigan families who are struggling to heat their homes.

Right now, WWJ Newsradio 950 is hosting its annual Radiothon for the heat and warmth fund known as THAW.

Since 1985, THAW has distributed more than $180 million in assistance to more than $240,000 Michigan households having a difficult time paying their bills.
