Family searching for missing 25-year-old man

Family, friends, and loved ones have been searching for him daily, looking all over the downriver communities, including Dingell Park, where they think he might have wandered.

A family downriver is frantically looking for their son who suffered a brain injury and has been missing for a week.

FOX 2 spoke with the parents who were heartbroken. They’ve been passing out flyers, hoping someone recognizes him. But so far, nothing.

Big picture view:

25-year-old Tyler Bojanowski is who is missing. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, is 5'9", and weighs 200 pounds.

His mother, Nicole, says she last spoke to him last Wednesday. He went out that night but never returned home. He was last seen on Thursday, Feb. 5, around 2:30 a.m. His vehicle was found by the Best Western in Allen Park on Enterprise Drive.

Family, friends, and loved ones have been searching for him daily, looking all over the downriver communities, including Dingell Park, where they think he might have wandered.

His passport was found in Ecorse.

Nicole says he suffered a brain injury a while ago but was recovering. She’s been his main caretaker and says they’re close. They talk all the time, and she just wants to hear his voice again.

"This has been so hard," said Nicole Dillon. "It’s tearing my family apart. I don’t care what happened. I just want him home."

"It’s really hard," said Delray Dillon. "It’s really challenging. It’s really tough."

What you can do:

The parents say Wyandotte Police and Melvindale Police have been phenomenal. They’ve had drones and the Coast Guard out helping.

Anyone with tips or information is asked to call police as soon as possible.
