Lions Announce They've Exercised Fifth-Year Option on Ansah
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - The Detroit Lions announced Monday that they have exercised the fifth-year option in the contract of defensive end Ezekial Ansah.
Ansah, 26, was selected to the Pro Bowl last season after posting 14.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. In his first three seasons, Ansah has a combined 30 sacks and nine forced fumbles, plus 128 combined tackles. Here is the full press release:
