Child hurt when SUV smashes through home

Witnesses say the suspect was speeding when she crashed into a home in the area of O'Hare Street and MacArthur just before 3 a.m. The force of the crash threw a 9-year-old girl out of a window and into a yard. A baby who was a few feet away was not hurt.

Students return to school for first time since stabbing

The incident happened on Wednesday where Detroit police say a mother allegedly walked into the school with a knife and gave it to her 14-year-old daughter. That teen used the knife to stab a 14-year-old classmate. The girl who was stabbed continues to recover from her injuries.
