Brush Park in the late 19th century earned the moniker of the Little Paris of the Midwest. There were beautiful mansions, some reflecting the opulence of the Victorian era, while others represented the distinction of the French renaissance. Suspect in Oakland County deputy's murder sentenced

One of the three suspects charged in the murder of Oakland County sheriff deputy Brad Reckling was sentenced to at least 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to four counts, including carjacking and conducting a criminal enterprise.
