Vinnie Dombroski from Sponge talks about the band's annual Thanksgiving Eve Show
Sponge is hosting their Annual Thanksgiving Eve Show to benefit Pope Francis Center in Downtown Detroit. The concert will be held at Diesel Concert Lounge in Chesterfield on Wednesday November, 24 at 7:00 PM. The show will also be a record release party for a one of kind album called ?Songs that Got Me Through It Vol. 1? Recorded live during the pandemic at the Shores Theater in St. Clair Shores, the album includes a family tree of Detroit Rock legends each covering their favorite Detroit songs. The album includes Sponge, Mike Skill from the Romantics, The Ricky Rat Pack, The Hard Lesson, The Orbitsuns, Jennifer Westwood and The Handsome Devils, and the Firewalkers. This is the 4th year in a row that Sponge has partnered with Pope Francis Center to help those in need in Downtown Detroit. A portion of the proceeds for the concert will go to help Pope Francis Center serve those in need as they move into the winter months.
