Beloved longtime Trenton teacher Dennis Hamilton dies

Dennis Hamilton pioneered one of the first major high school TV production programs in metro Detroit at Trenton High School, Downriver. Hundreds of the students he taught during his 36 years in the classroom went on to work in this business and other entertainment industries both locally -- and across the country. He passed away this week after battling pancreatic cancer. Dennis Hamilton was 67 years old.
