Metro Detroit weather: Windy, mild start before temps dip later in the day
DETROIT (FOX 2) - A windy and mild start across Southeast Michigan — temps were in the 40s at 4 a.m.! But they’ll slip a bit this afternoon.

The wind will be noticeable, with gusts up to 35 mph keeping wind chills in check.
Feel-like temperatures were closer to 30 this morning, but they'll fall into the low 20s.

Thursday looks pretty great, with some sun and highs making a run into the low 40s, followed by rain and snow to close out the week.

As things stand, only a minor slushy accumulation is expected. Temps drop behind Friday’s system but bounce back quickly—40° by Sunday looks like a solid bet.
