Scattered showers possible Thursday evening across Southeast Michigan

(FOX 2) - It'll be a dry start to the day with a ton of sun before clouds increase and the chance for storms creeps up this afternoon and evening. 

Here's a snapshot of 7 p.m. - notice the scattered coverage of the showers and storms.

A few showers may linger Friday as the system is on its way out, but the weekend is looking great with a hotter finish. 

Temperatures look to stay near and above average the next week.
