Cooking with more flavor with less salt

Hypertension or abnormally high blood pressure affects more than three million people nationwide and is a contributing factor to heart disease.

Sodium intake is directly related to blood pressure levels and can increase these levels significantly if not monitored. 

Registered dietitian and certified health coach at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Grace Derocha joined us on The Nine with some tips to get more flavor in our food with less salt.
