Covenant House volunteer helps homeless young adults thrive

Covenant House Michigan (CHM) serves young adults ages 18-24 who are homeless or at-risk. These young men and women often come through CHM's doors with very little, maybe just the clothes on their backs. CHM is there to provide them with the essentials, a place to sleep, food, toiletries and, of course, love and care.

Covenant House volunteer Dee Groeneweg joined us in studio to tell us more about the organization, along with Claire Van Raaphorst, the development communications specialist at Covenant House.

April is national volunteer month, and Dee has been an integral part in Covenant House's success. You can hear more from her in the video player above.
