Create virtual fish at new Sea Life exhibit

(WJBK) - The Sea Life aquarium at Great Lakes Crossing is opening a new exhibit this President's Day weekend. 

You can create your own virtual sea creature in its new Doodle Reef exhibit. You choose your fish, color it -- and then watch it come to life on a big screen. Your fish will actually move around and look like its swimming with other live creatures in the aquarium. 

Visitors can also download a special app to take their fish home and continue playing games with it. 

Josh Landon visited Sea Life to check out the Doodle Reef. You can watch in the video player above as he and marketing manager Debbie Gibb show off their fish. 

The Doodle Reef officially opens on Friday, January 16.
