Detroit Historical Museum Hosts Chasing Dreams Exhibit

Baseball and sports memorabilia will soon be on display at the Detroit Historical Museum in the new Chasing Dreams Exhibit.

         Opening on Sept. 9, the collection includes dozens of baseball artifacts that are not just a symbol of local and statewide ties to the major leagues, but also represent the important role America’s pastime has in unifying people and how it helped immigrants trying to integrate into American culture.

           Wendy Rose Bice, executive director of the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan, and local collector Dr. Robert Matthews are here to tell us more about the exhibit.
