(WJBK) - Albert Kahn has been called "the architect of Detroit." His work can be found on buildings all across the city.
Now, a new book documents his life and his legacy. It's called "Building the Modern World: Albert Kahn in Detroit".
Author Michael Hodges, fine arts writer for the Detroit News, joined us in studio to tell us more about the new book. You can hear from him in the video player above.
A launch party for the book is happening Thursday, May 3 at 5 p.m. at Signal-Return in Detroit. It's free to get in and you aren't obligated to buy anything.
