Detroit PAL's golf classic fundraiser Aug. 7

(WJBK) - Detroit PAL is a private, nonprofit organization that is working to make Detroit a great place to be a kid and raise a family. In partnership with the Detroit Police Department and community volunteers, Detroit PAL builds character in young people through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs.

It's holding its largest annual fundraiser, The Paul W. Smith Golf Classic, on Monday, August 7 at 8 a.m.
