Detroit Tigers' Paws Delivers Flowers for Valentine's Day

Those that know Fox 2’s Amy Andrews are probably aware of her love affair with Detroit’s professional sports teams, and the Tigers in particular.

On Saturday, the team returned the favor.

Paws, the Tigers’ joyful and charismatic mascot, surprised Andrews with a special bouquet of roses live on the air as part of the organization’s special Valentine’s Day promotion. Paws will don a tuxedo and hand deliver flowers to a significant other from Friday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 14 within a 30-mile radius of Comerica Park.

For $150, fans can receive a one-dozen red rose bouquet wrapped in Tigers colors with a personalized flower tag presented by Kroger and a large personalized Valentine's Day card. They’ll also get 15 minutes with the loveable mascot before he has to make the next delivery.
