Empty the Shelter with Almost Home

It's time to empty the shelter! The annual event to help spur animal rescues and pet adoption gets underway today. All dog and cat adoptions are $25 nationwide, sponsored by Bissel. 

Melanie Mirasciotti and Beth Dillon, of the Almost Home shelter, stopped by the Fox2 News studios Saturday morning with their furry friend, Alvin, to highlight the event, taking place from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Walk-in applicants can still come to the event and fill out an application however the approval is based on best fit,.
