Forum to educate how to spot fake news

Fake news was a big factor in the 2016 election and now news outlets, social media sites, and even Google are working together to stop the spread of hoaxes and fake headlines.

The spread of false and sensationalized news spreads on sites like Facebook like wildfire

That's why Marygrove College is holding a forum to educate people on how to spot fake news.

Our own Amy Lange is moderating the chat.

The forum is Thursday, March 15 at Marygrove College. You can RSVP by calling (313) 927-1240.
