Joe Sazyc Memorial 5K Fundraiser

Joseph Sazyc III was a bright student at Wayne State University who lost his battle with cancer in 2012 at age 22.

His friends, family and former fraternity brothers have kept his memory alive with a real purpose to support cancer research through the Joe Sazyc Memorial 5K Run. They'll gather for the 6th straight year this afternoon at Belle Isle to help raise funds for the American Brain Tumor Association.

Michael Kelly and Tyler Ginderson, two current members of the with the  with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, visited the Fox2 News Studios Saturday to preview the event.
