MAN UP! For Better Health event Aug. 6

(WJBK) - This Saturday is your chance to get free health screenings, everything from blood pressure to dental care. The event is called MAN UP! For Better Health and is sponsored by the organization 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit.

The event is Saturday, August 6 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Wayne County Community College District's northwest campus, which is at 8200 W. Outer Drive. There are free family health screenings and a walk to participate in, too.

You're asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m. if you want to participate in the walk.
