Pin-Ups and Privates charity event Aug. 24

(WJBK) - The era of big band dance music, where a night out on the town meant dancing with fancy footwork, full make-up and flowing skirts is long gone. Or is it?

Pin-Ups and Privates is a swing dancing charity event that will be the ultimate 1940's USO-style party. A portion of the evening's proceeds will benefit Activate Detroit Potential.

The fundraiser is August 24 at 7:30 p.m. on Belle Isle. Tickets are $85.
