Preventing Children from Suffering Heat Stroke

Summer is right around the corner and that means temperatures will be on the rise soon enough. And those hot temperatures could put kids at risk under the wrong circumstances.

Renee Zarr, a local mom who's also part of  the Kohl's Injury Prevention Program at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, visited the Fox2 Studios Saturday morning to help spread awareness by explaining the dangers of heat stroke. She also brought along some of the new innovative technology available that can help keep kids safe and give parents peace of mind.
