Shades of Blue to Perform with Chubby Checker

The Shades of Blue, members of the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame, will be perform their 1966 No. 1 hit "Oh How Happy" and other Motown classics with Chubby Checker just ahead of the Woodward Dream Cruise next week. 

The performance is scheduled to begin a 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at Dearborn's Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, and also features the Marcels and the Spaniels.

The group and event promoter Scott Avig dropped by the Fox2 News studios Saturday morning to preview the event and share their vocal talents.
