Shimmer on the River kicks off GM River Days

(WJBK) - The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is kicking off the 2016 GM River Days Festival with a special fundraiser. Shimmer on the River is happening Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Detroit Riverfront will be transformed into a family fun fair and carnival, featuring a private concert by "The World's Greatest Party Band," the B-52s.
