There is an event Saturday in Detroit to train on how to help prevent suicide.

Pastors, parents and the community are invited to be trained in QPR suicide prevention (question, persuade and refer).

The event is free from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Grace Community Church 21001 Moross Road in Detroit.
