Sunset at the Zoo event at Detroit Zoo this Friday

(WJBK) - The Detroit Zoo's annual Sunset at the Zoo fundraiser is this Friday.
    
It's all about African safari chic. Joining FOX 2 is fashion guru Chuck Bennet with what to wear.

The African safari-themed gala takes place Friday, June 8, 2018, 7-11 p.m.  The 21-and-older event is held rain or shine and the Zoo closes at 1 p.m. that day in preparation for the festivities.   

Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.detroitzoo.org/sunset.  Supporter tickets are $175; Patron tickets are $325 and include a VIP Reception, sponsored by ITC Holdings Corp., in the Detroit Zoo's African Grasslands on June 8, 5:30-7 p.m., just prior to the main event.  Supporter and Patron tickets can be purchased at the gate the day of Sunset for $200 and $350, respectively.
