(WJBK) - A child's disability shouldn't be a barrier to becoming an active athlete. Taiwan Jones's Special Athletes Club works to give kids with disabilities a way to become active and build relationships with their peers.
He joined us on The Nine to tell us more about the club.
The club is for kids with disabilities all throughout the state, ages 7-16. The club will be on Saturdays, February 3, 10 and 17. The kids will participate is a different sport each week including basketball, kickball, and of course football; along with relay races and other fun games.
