1 dead, 3 others hurt in Detroit gas station stabbing

Detroit Police are investigating after four people were stabbed at a gas station on Detroit's west side early Sunday morning. Police say one victim was killed and the three others are in the hospital right now. 

The stabbings happened at a Marathon gas station on Livernois around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. 

Police say a man about 30 years old was stabbed in the chest and died in a hospital emergency room. Police two other men were stabbed in the stomach and were listed Sunday afternoon in critical condition. They say a 32-year-old woman was stabbed in the arm and was in stable condition. 

The names of the victims weren't immediately released.

Police said they didn't know yet why the stabbing happened. It was unclear whether they had a suspect.
