15-year-old shot in Inkster, police searching for suspect
FOX 2 - A 15-year-old boy suffered multiple gunshot wounds after an incident with a group of suspects Friday in Inkster, police said.
Officers responded to calls reporting gunfire involving three male suspects and found the victim in the 30000 block of Hazelwood. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in stable condition.
It is unclear what circumstances led to the shooting where 15-year-old suffered wounds to the left leg and groin area.
"This remains an active and ongoing investigation," said Chief Tamika Jenkins in a release. "The Inkster Police Department urges anyone with information about this incident to come forward by calling (313) 563-9850. Callers can remain anonymous."
