19-year-old shot four times on Detroit's west side

DETROIT (WJBK) - A 19-year-old girl was shot four times on Detroit's west side.

The incident happened inside her home the 9200 block of Faust Street at about 7 p.m. Monday. But the young woman and her step-father who were both inside the residence did not see who fired the gun shots.

The woman is believed to have been hit three times in the chest and once to the buttocks, according to sources. After being shot she ran upstairs where her step-father was.

She is in critical condition at the hospital.
