2 dead in fatal accident closing I-75 northbound at Schaefer

A deadly accident has closed the northbound side of I-75 north near Springwells.

Michigan State Police said that two people was killed in the crash. It is unclear if there were any other injuries or how severe they were.

 Two cars were involved. The freeway has been closed at Schaefer.

There have been no updates from Michigan State Police about what caused the crash.

Police advise that the freeway in that direction will remain closed for the next few hours for the accident investigation.
