4 hurt when semi truck crashes into liquor store in Sterling Heights

Sterling Heights police say four people have been hurt after a semi truck lost control and crashed into the front of a liquor store. It happened around 2:30 this afternoon at Frank's Party Store and Deli on Mound road, right near 14 Mile. 

Sterling Heights Police Chief Chris Martin tells Fox 2 the semi truck driver lost control after colliding with another vehicle. The semi driver then crashed into the party store, hitting 3 people inside. The driver was pinned in the cab of his truck and had to be removed. He and the 3 others injured inside the store were taken to the hospital for their injuries.

No word on the other driver that collided with the semi.

Sterling Heights Police have diverted traffic in the area.
